The good news just keeps rolling into the EWBC headquarters. Right off the press, Wines of Spain has recently published an article on the conference, emphasizing our common desire to not only learn how to better collaborate, but also gain the respect and the attention of the wine trade. What makes this news so fantastic is that Wines of Spain is a government run agency whose audience is comprised primarily of Spanish wineries, retailers, importers and exporters. By having our conference highlighted on their site, means that wine bloggers are attracting the attention of exactly some of the people we’re striving to reach! Do you know anyone in your region/country that might be interested in our conference?
The second bit of spectacular news is that there may be an opportunity for a small press junket to receive a 3 day trip to Portugal after the conference! You would have the opportunity to visit old port houses, see a cork factory first hand, meander through the lush Douro vineyards and drink some spectacular port wine! However, we need to know if you would be interested.
Preference will be given to those who have previously said they were coming to the conference, but we are still encouraging you to sign up for the conference, and hopefully, there will be places for all those who are interested. Let us know what you want to learn about Portuguese wines? Is there a specific style of port you’re interested in trying? Etc. You get the idea~!
As you can see, the momentum for this conference is building, but we need your active voice! Please send those emails in to us today!
