We really are very sorry, but our seams are busting! Hotels are full, restaurants without seats, and tables so full of participant wines that we have to say stop! In truth, when we first proposed this idea, we never thought we could find more then 10 international bloggers to get together and talk. We thought it would end up with the three of us conversing with a half amused winery worker and a few drop ins at a bar talking about why no one else decided to come.

Boy, were we wrong!

To date, we’re well over the 30 participant limit we had tentatively set, and we seem to be getting more last minute requests than we expected. Mind you, this is FABULOUS, and we’re not complaining, it’s just we have no more room. If we had known we would of planned a larger event! We do want all of you to come. We would love for all of you to come. That said, there are options! We are proud to announce that you will be able to follow along here on this site as the conference happens. Here’s how:

• We’ll be putting up on the 29th an Coveritlive.com embedded window so that all of you can follow us as we blog about the event in real time. Then that live stream will be searchable and embeddable later on the EWBC website.
• Our sponsor VinusTV will also be helping out by recording everything we do, and will also make sure to interview participants about what they think. This is very exciting for us, as we’ll be able to have video up on this site, hopefully if the internet gods of Rioja are with us, on the same day! Information that you will be able to learn from we hope, or at least find some good information within!
• Follow up conferences! If this pre-conference interest is any indication, we’ll be forced to do another one! So much interest! Right now it appears we might have a host already for next year, and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s confirmed.
• Follow up seminars? Now that we have some people here in Iberia interested, mainly people interested in getting into blogging, maybe we should do a workshop or two! If you’re interested, let us know and we’ll see if we can arrange something for people here in Spain and Portugal to learn more about what happened.

So don’t fret, there are opportunities for you to learn about social media and blogging. We’ll make sure of it. So, plug yourself into our conference virtually and don’t miss a beat as we discuss the latest news.
