“How are we different from mainstream wine resources, what can we do to set ourselves apart”

Writing for a blog is different; we all know that. But how? What is a “blog”? What are we trying to achieve? Do we need to have a journalism degree, or certification programme before we can call ourselves “Wine Bloggers”?

Although there will be bloggers who write in many different languages present, we all share a common need to communicate with readers in an engaging way and to define our space.

Is this a worthwhile, or even an achievable, endeavour? Who could lead this session? Should we get a non-blogger to reflect on blogging and its merits? Do we invite someone from outside the wine world to comment on how to “break-through”? Any volunteers or suggestions?
