I personally would like to hear a well respected blogger from the USA talk to us about how they see the difference between European and US blogs, and what US readers make of us.

I believe a lot of the traffic on European blogs will come from US readers. What do they make of what they find? I have a sense that you could probably tell just from reading a post (ignoring the issue of languages for now) which side of the Atlantic it comes from.

Will a European wine blog ever be “top dog”?

Will a european blog ever be top dog!?! What about us! ;) I think when you look at it as far as English blogs go Catavino and Spittoon are near the top. Though probably still suffer from being outside of the US. On the other hand I would argue that in other languages there are blogs that are at the top of the pack, higher than most when it comes to writing, and ranking world wide.
